January 30, 2009 - ScanLink Technologies and Veilig Safety Systems select MARLEX Engineering to develop a Phase 2 prototype radio based Obstacle Detection System for use on construction safety applications. Having successfully tested and demonstrated a MARLEX developed proof of concept prototype, Veilig Safety Systems was invited to demonstrate its novel technology at the most recent ORBA/OSWCA Civil Construction Safety Group Meeting.
After receiving overwhelming positive feedback for their potentially life-saving technology, Veilig Safety Systems has teamed up with ScanLink Technologies to commercialize this new product. MARLEX Engineering Inc. is looking forward to completing the R&D and the design for manufacturability stages of this exciting new technology.
