June 6, 2008 - MARLEX Engineering Inc. announces the completion of a compact electronic reader platform used for High-Throughput Infectious Disease Diagnostics. Contracted by the Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering to develop a compact reader capable of processing data obtained from their groundbreaking Biochip technology, MARLEX Engineering Inc. has now delivered its first prototype for testing at a nano-bio research lab.
Currently the size of a breadmaker, we hope to continue the development of this reader technology into a handheld instrument.
