March 14, 2006 - MARLEX Engineering Inc. proudly announced today that it has entered a Research and Development agreement with Fifth Light Technology Ltd. to develop its latest dimmable Electronic Ballast design technology for use in occupancy management and daylight harvesting control systems.
Fifth Light's world-class dimmable ballasts allow dynamic lighting control to achieve maximum energy savings in a building's lighting system. By working in concert with photo-sensors and a sophisticated computer system, light levels are automatically and imperceptibly adjusted so that just the appropriate amount of light reaches desk level for a given task.
